RETURN POLICY
Upon any purchase from 5k-mods.com you are in abidense to these regulations.
All items on 5K-mods are sold with an RTB (Return To Base) warranty. All Returned Items must be in the original packaging or in a mail-safe box or envelope. 5K-mods is not responsible for any items that are missing or damaged during shipment.

- All items have a warranty period, if it is not displayed on the page, then it is 3 months (US CUSTOMERS ONLY). If an item dies, we will replace it. We will only replace it if it is a manufacture defect, we will not replace a product that has been made dysfunctional via user error. The user is responsible for return postage costs to us, we will pay for posting the item back to you. Please don't just return the item, you need to contact us about it first! Quote your order number and give us a detailed description of the problem.
If you return an item that is working, we will send the item back after you have paid for return postage. Please make sure the error is not related to 3rd party products you are using.
If you return an item that is out of stock, we obviously cannot provide you with a replacement. Some options are: swapping it with a similar product, store credit.
Consoles have serial numbers, and we log them all down (including all the insides). Trying to scam us and sending us back a product that isn't ours or has been tampered with, and we will keep it.
If we sell a console it comes with a 1 year warranty. We will put a warranty sticker on the console - remove it, or tamper with it and you have no warranty at all. No exceptions.
NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS
Some products are deemed ineligible for return by 5k-mods. If received, these ineligible products will be returned to you at your expense. Certain non-defective items cannot be returned (such as a repair, or a service) will be held out if it fails under 30 day warranty we will issue a credit or another repair at buyers consent.
- No, sorry. We understand that people change their mind, make the wrong choices etc. We put as much information on our site as possible, if you are not sure about something, feel free to ask us. The reason why we don't accept returns for non defective items is that we have nothing to do with them item once its returned! People don't seem to realise, that a modchip store with a return policy that allows people to send back non defective items, is a modchip store that sells 2nd hand products.
All OzModChips stock is 100% new in the condition that we get them from the official people who make them. The only fingerprints on item are from the packer who has dispatched your item. This policy should give our customers the confidence that they are getting what they paid for.
DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Returning a Defective Item:
Unless otherwise specified, we gladly accept defective exchanges on products within 30 days of the purchase date.5K-mods will have sole discretion as to the credit methods. We may ship a replacement, or we may repair the item and return it to you.

You may return most new, unopened items sold by 5K-mods within 30 days from the invoice date. A 15% restocking fee may be applied to all returns for a refund if the reason for the return is due to customer error, such as ordering the wrong item and/or change in item preference. Please include a copy of your invoice. If you do not have the invoice, please include a note with your order number and RMA number. All items returned must be returned in "as new" condition in the original packaging and include all accessories, blank warranty cards, UPC codes (attached), and user manuals.

WARRANTIES
Most items sold at 5K-mods have a 30 day warranty against defects and a DOA warranty of up to 30 days (check each products warranty conditions)
Physical Damages to any product will void the product warranty and eligibility for return:
User caused error a product in a permanent way is considered as physically damaging the product and will void the product's warranty. . We will not offer return on jtag systems that dont connect to live, this is common knowledge these do not have that feature.
